My artistic vision was to evoke an emotional connection between the audience and the characters by utilizing everyday rooms and a shallow depth of field, which helped to heighten the sense of realism. Throughout the film's production, my primary focus was to create a truly immersive and realistic storytelling experience. This was achieved through meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of the production, including the quality of the acting performances. The final result is a visually and emotionally captivating short film, which is certain to resonate with its audience long after the credits have rolled.

Editing my short film was a crucial part of the process, and one of the most exciting elements for me was the colour grading stage.

I chose to use a blue tint to convey a sense of isolation, expressing the characters' loneliness, despondency, and confinement. This added an extra layer of depth to the film and had a powerful effect on the audience's subconscious. The use of this distinct colour composition created a unique look for each scene, successfully conveying the emotions and atmosphere I aimed for. With careful balancing of contrast, saturation, and hue, I was able to create a visually striking and engaging end product that truly captured the essence of the story.

In addition, I realized the significance of paying close attention to detail in every aspect of production and anticipating potential problems before they occurred. Moreover, I developed the ability to adapt quickly to changes and make prompt decisions to keep the production running smoothly. Throughout the production process, I sharpened my time management skills, enabling me to optimize productivity and ensure that we remained on schedule. To sum up, the production process provided me with a wealth of valuable experiences and learnings, ranging from effective communication to problem-solving, time management, adaptability, and decision-making. These skills will undoubtedly serve me well in any future productions or projects I undertake.
